Keith made Alec a big race car bed with his name on it but Alec didn't sleep in his bed or his room, he was always in my bed "snuggle buggled" up with me.
It was really hard when I was pregnant to even think about changing Alec's room for the new baby, and I had to go in his room and organize for small bits as it was so emotional with lots of tears and some smiles. Once Gabriella was here and we were sleeping in Al's room and bed it became easier to think about making it a room for her because she deserved to have a room for her plus Alec was never in his room so it didn't seem like it was really his room.
I always smile and chuckle when I think of when Alec started to sleep in his bed by himself, it only lasted a few weeks, and one night he woke up and came into my room, he said "Al coughed, and Al has to sleep in here" and he climbed into bed with us. I said Al you can't sleep in your bed because you coughed? and he said "YUP". Then a few minutes later he said, "That's Ridiculous, Al coughed"! and he got up and went back into his own bed.
It was sooo funny! He laid there and thought about it and came to his own conclusion that it was ridiculous!
So now every night I lay in his bed, I always have his sweet and silly words playing in my head to make me smile.."Al coughed, That's Ridiculous"!
