![]() I took Cassidy to Martha's Vineyard. The main parking lot to park in to take the ferry was full so we were given directions to another lot and took a shuttle bus to the ferry. When we came back and got off the ferry, we headed toward the busses and a worker asked where we were going. I said to the parking lot to get my car, and he said which parking lot. I said the one we were directed to because the main one was full. ( As we were talking to him a bus pulled in right in front of us it had the #23 on it, I said Cass look, #23. ) The guy said there are 3 parking lots, which one did you park in, I said I don't know, I didn't know I had to remember the parking lot name because I thought there was only one extra lot. Cassidy said she thought it was Gifford Street lot but I wasn't so sure. He asked what color my parking ticket was, I had no idea, I left it in the car, but Cass thought it was pink or orange. So he told us to just hop on the Gifford street bus and hope its the right one. So we walked up between two buses and there was a bus driver standing there so we told him our dilemma, he asked the same questions as the other guy, and we had no answers. He said, don't worry, I'll take care of you and we'll find your car. I looked up and he was standing in front of bus 23. I said is bus 23 your bus? He said it's not MY bus but I drive it. I thought , of course this nice man who told us not to worry and he'd take care of us drives bus 23. So before we hopped on, I said I just need to take a picture of the 23 bus. He said he's met folks who take pictures of buses on their travels, and questioned why I was taking a picture. I choked up and said it's just very special to us, and pulled my sunglasses down to hide my tears. He then said, do you want a picture of me with the bus and he stood beside the 23. I was about to say no that's ok, because I already took one, but it was kinda funny how he just thought I'd want a picture of him and the bus and I didn't want to hurt his feelings because he was so nice to us . It made us chuckle. Smiling through tears. Me and Cass got on the bus and right in front of us was a barrel that said bus #23. We just sat and took it in, Our very special sign from Alec. I said to Cass, that Al sent help to me because he was saying, oh Mama, I'll help you cuz you get lost so easy. And of course the parking lot that bus 23 went to had our car, so it was the right bus all along. And when we got in the car I held up the ticket to show Cass and it was Green of course, Al's favorite color.
