I have been getting some party plans together for Kara (my daughter) and quickly remembered a funny story that really just  made me smile. It just makes me laugh, because I was kinda oblivious this day to all, the details, but later found out why Alec was a bit upset this day.... I asked Laura if it was ok to share this funny story... here it is:

Alec was so upset because he wanted cake NOW (I actually think he didn't like the flavor I had either) and he was so mad he had to wait,  Laura and Keith tried to tell him he would get some but had to wait a little while because it wasn't cake time. (the party just started), right after, he pushed Adrianna  (my niece) for no reason and she fell. (she was fine). After that Laura took Alec into my bathroom where he layed on the floor and took out his "need for cake now" (kicking) on my new glass shower doors (they were also fine LOL  LOL). That day was the only day Laura said they ever saw Alec act that way.  At the next birthday party, months down the road, he told Laura and Keith he would never do that again, and told Adrianna he was sorry...

YOU KNOW WHAT ALEC....I GET MAD TOO WHEN SOMEONE DOESN'T GIVE ME CAKE!!!,

Thanks Nicole for sharing this story, it continues to make us laugh, (poor Adrianna--she got pushed down for no reason, yet she didn't even seemed to phased by it..she didn't even cry)
Keith just reminded us that he wasn't even there when all this played out, he came to the party a bit late and I filled him in on Alec's behavior, I think he was relieved to have missed it.
I will say that while this was the only time we saw Alec act this way, I can't say that it is the only time he did, since I may remember his teacher telling me about an incident when Alec threw his lunch box because it wasn't snack time yet!

This story just literally made me laugh out loud! :) Hilarious! I didn't have the pleasure of knowing the little guy but it sounds like he got a little of his genes from the Landry side of the family (or should I just say from me) :)

I LOVE this story!! It also made me think of Nicholas' 10th birthday party. Alec sat so patiently at the table on the back deck, waiting for me to serve the cake. He asked, "Auntie...is it the good cake or the yucky cake?" (meaning vanilla (good) vs chocolate (yucky)) He then said, "Auntie....sometimes....you just have to eat cake!!!" How right you are, Al, how right you are!!
