On our anniversary in sept 2010. Keith and I went out for dinner. My Mom came to watch the kids. I think we have only gone out once or twice since we had Cass because we would rather be with Cass and Al, but for some reason I felt we should go out though Keith wasn't really wanting to. We didn't know where we were going to eat and we headed to Nashua and went into a Mexican restaurant, but it seemed dingy so we left and started driving back. My Mom called us and said Alec wanted to know where we were going to eat. He was worried about us and was worried that we didn't know where we were eating. We called him back and talked to him and let him know our plan and he seemed better. It was so cute how worried he was about us. Though I think he just wanted us home. So we ended up at the Cheesecake factory in Burlington. We had a quick dinner and were home , we were only gone 2 hours. When we got home, Cass was on the couch by herself watching tv and told us Nana was laying in bed with Alec. My Mom came out and Keith went in to lay with Alec, he was still awake and so glad we were home. My Mom told me that Alec kept asking when we were going to be home and said to her, "You don't Snuggle Buggle as good as Mama". Me and Al slept together every night and he would tuck his legs between my legs and we would say that we were Snuggling Buggling and when we were on the couch under a blanket reading books, we were "Snuggling Buggling". I loved this closeness with Al, it is such a gift that I got to have all those Snuggle Buggles and even though we were encouraged to get Al to sleep in his own bed, (Christine and Corrie would smile and sweetly tease me about it in a very friend teasing a friend way). I'm so thankful that he only slept by himself for a month or a few months. And the rest was with me and on the weekend with his Dada. That is what Alec needed and what I needed.

You knew all along, Laura, that your "Snuggle Buggles" were what you, Keith, and Alec needed the most. Listening to your heart and "Mom knows best intuition" will always lead you in the right direction. ♥
